Terms and Conditions


Enrollment and Payment:

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions:

  • By enrolling your child at Aquabelle Swim School, you agree to the terms and
    conditions outlined in this agreement.
  • All fees for classes are due in full at the time of registration unless otherwise
    agreed upon. Fees are non-refundable, except in the case of medical
    emergencies or other extenuating circumstances, at the discretion of the Swim
    School.
  • Invoices for fees will be issued by email before the start of each term, and
    payment is required by the due date indicated. Payment can be made by our
    chosen payment gateway Stripe or Cash.

Class Scheduling and Cancellations:

Classes will be scheduled according to the Swim School’s timetable, which is subject to change based on demand and availability.

If your child is unable to attend a class due to illness or other reasons, please inform us as soon as possible. If Aquabelle Swim School cancels a class due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, teacher illness), you will be offered a rescheduled class or a credit for the missed class.


Health and Safety

  • It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that the child is in good health to participate in our swimming lessons.
  • Parents/guardians must inform Aquabelle of any medical conditions or allergies that may affect the child’s ability to participate safely in swim lessons. Parents are able to add medical information via the Soakly Parent Portal.
  • Parents must ensure their child arrives on time for each class. Late arrivals may not be able to participate in the full lesson.
  • A responsible adult must accompany children at all times when outside of the pool area.

Behavior & Conduct

  • Children are expected to behave in a manner that is respectful of their teacher and fellow students. Any disruptive behaviour may result in removal from the class, with no refund.
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child adheres to Aquabelle
    Swim School’s code of conduct.
  • Inappropriate behaviour may include but is not limited to, excessive noise, refusal
    to participate, or unsafe conduct around the pool area.

Liability

  • Aquabelle Swim School will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of your child during their swimming lessons. However, the parent/guardian acknowledges and agrees that swimming involves inherent risks, and Aquabelle Swim School cannot accept liability for injuries or accidents that may occur during classes.
  • Parents/guardians agree to hold Aquabelle Swim School and its staff harmless from any and all liability, loss, damage, or injury arising from their child’s participation in the swimming term, except for

Photography and Video

Aquabelle Swim School may take photographs or video footage during lessons for marketing or promotional purposes. Parents/guardians consent to the use of their child’s image in this context unless they provide a written objection at the
time of enrollment. Our staff will always ask each class if everyone has consented. We operate a strict no photo/video policy at all times


Communication

Aquabelle Swim School will communicate important information such as class changes, cancellations, or updates through email, phone calls, or text messages. It is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure that up-to-date contact information is provided to the Aquabelle Swim School.


Refunds and Transfers

Refunds for lessons are only available under exceptional circumstances, such as medical emergencies, and must be requested in writing.


All other related matters are referenced in the Aquabelle Swim School Normal Operating Procedures and Emergency Operating Procedures document, which can be found in the office and is available on request.
